The multi-striped flag of Costa Rica is formed from red, white and blue colors with coats of arms in the left half. It is symmetrical: the first and last stripes are blue, the second and penultimate are white, and there is a wider red stripe in the middle. On the coat of arms, you can see the image of three volcanoes located between two oceans.
