The flag of India is a tricolor canvas in the form of three horizontal lines of equal width. There is an orange (saffron-colored) stripe at the very top, followed by a white line, and a green one at the very bottom. In the center of the canvas, you can see an image of a wheel with twenty-four spokes in blue. The orange color of the flag is associated with the spirituality of the Indian people, white - with peacefulness, and green - with the fertility of the land. The wheel is a religious symbol.
